An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established, fully integrated financial services firm. With a team of 60 professionals (onshore and offshore) and six Partners leading across divisions in Advisory, Accounting & Tax, Wealth Management, and Lending & Finance, this is a role that offers depth, responsibility, and clear pathways for growth. The Role As a Senior Accountant in the Advisory, Accounting & Tax team, you will work directly with Principals and Partners to manage a diverse portfolio of SME and larger client groups across industries such as legal, medical, construction, and farming. This role offers a strong focus on client service delivery , quality compliance work, and value-add advisory opportunities. You will be expected to lead client engagements, manage reporting and compliance deadlines, and help drive business improvements through insight and initiative. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements for a variety of entities (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs) Perform complex CGT calculations, including small business CGT concessions Deliver timely and accurate compliance and advisory services within scope and budget Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams Support and mentor junior staff members Identify and manage risks while maintaining a strong commercial mindset Actively contribute to process improvement and system enhancements Technical Requirements CA or CPA qualified Strong technical knowledge in tax legislation including Division 7A, personal services income, and trust law Proficient in Xero Practice Manager and FYI Docs (or similar platforms) Demonstrated experience with GST, BAS/IAS, and tax planning strategies Strong capability in self-review, risk identification, and productivity tracking What’s on Offer Flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements Study support for CA/CPA qualifications Additional leave benefits including birthday leave and mental health days A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that values innovation, integrity, and delivery If you’re looking to join a high-performing team with genuine opportunities to advance your career, this role offers the platform to make your mark.
